WHY PLUS PLUS

The difference between power and precision

PRECISION TUNING

Every calibration is custom-tailored to your specific vehicle. No generic maps. No shortcuts. Just pure, optimized performance from seasoned engineers.

PROVEN RELIABILITY

Our calibrations are dyno-tested and street-proven. We engineer within safe parameters to ensure your engine delivers power for years to come.

DEEP EXPERTISE

Specialists in Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, and McLaren platforms. We understand the intricacies of every ECU, every sensor, every map table.

GUARANTEED RESULTS

Every tune comes with documented before-and-after dyno results. See the gains with your own eyes. If you are not satisfied, we make it right.

OUR PROCESS

How we deliver repeatable, measurable performance gains

01

CONSULTATION & GOAL SETTING

Every calibration starts with a conversation. We discuss your driving style, fuel availability, power goals, and whether you intend to pair the tune with bolt-on modifications like downpipes, intakes, or intercoolers. For track-focused cars we also review cooling capacity and transmission tolerances. This step ensures the tune we deliver actually matches how you drive — a daily-driver Porsche 911 Turbo S gets a different calibration strategy than a weekend Ferrari SF90 headed to Streets of Willow.

02

BASELINE DYNO & DATA LOGGING

Your vehicle goes on our in-shop dyno for a baseline pull in stock form. We capture horsepower, torque, air-fuel ratios, boost pressure, timing, knock counts, and coolant temperatures across the full RPM band. This baseline becomes the truth-source we measure every subsequent change against — no guesswork, no marketing numbers, just verified data pulled from your specific car on the same dyno under the same conditions.

03

CUSTOM CALIBRATION

We read your factory ECU map, then reshape the critical tables — ignition timing, boost targets, cam phasing, lambda, torque limiters, and on direct-injection platforms, fuel pressure and injection timing. Every change is made with a specific power and reliability target, and we reject generic off-the-shelf files. Flex-fuel builds, E85 calibrations, and methanol injection maps are supported on platforms that can safely run them. For cars with a dual-clutch transmission, we also tune the TCU for sharper upshifts, stronger clutch clamping, and raised torque limits so the gearbox can handle the new power without slipping.

04

VERIFICATION & DELIVERY

The tuned file goes back on the dyno for verification pulls. We data-log every run, watching for knock events, lambda drift, boost pressure consistency, and EGT. You get before/after dyno sheets, a summary of every calibration change, and documentation of knock margins at peak boost. For daily drivers we also do a short road drive to verify part-throttle smoothness, cold-start behavior, and drivability — because a calibration that makes peak numbers but feels terrible below 3,000 RPM is a failed tune.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Straight answers to the questions we hear most

Will an ECU tune void my factory warranty?

Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer cannot blanket-void your warranty just because you tuned the ECU — they must prove the tune caused the specific failure. That said, dealers still deny warranty claims they associate with aftermarket tuning, and most exotic manufacturers keep detailed ECU flash counters we can read. We're upfront about the trade-off: if your Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, or McLaren is under factory warranty and you rely on that coverage, understand that some dealers may push back. For out-of-warranty vehicles the question is moot, and for daily-driven enthusiasts who want maximum performance, the calibration is usually worth it.

What horsepower gains should I expect on my car?

Gains depend on the platform, fuel quality, and whether supporting modifications are installed. A Stage 1 tune on pump 91 octane typically delivers 40-80 horsepower on turbocharged Porsche 911 platforms, 60-120 horsepower on twin-turbo Lamborghini Urus and Ferrari F8 platforms, and meaningful mid-range torque improvements on McLaren 720S and 765LT. Stage 2 with bolt-ons (downpipes, intercoolers, high-flow intakes) can double those numbers on the right platform. Naturally-aspirated cars see more modest gains — typically 10-25 horsepower with a cat-back exhaust and tune — because there's less hidden headroom in the factory map.

Do you need my car in person, or can you do remote tuning?

For precision calibration we strongly prefer having the car in our Phoenix shop. In-person tuning gives us dyno verification, drivability validation, and the ability to road-test the file before releasing it. That said, we do offer remote OTS (off-the-shelf) flash files for several common platforms — these are proven calibrations our in-house dyno has developed and validated, delivered via a flash tool we mail to you. Remote tunes cannot match a dyno-developed custom calibration, but they're a solid option for enthusiasts who can't make the trip to Phoenix.

How long does the tuning process take?

Most Stage 1 ECU-only calibrations are a single-day appointment — drop off in the morning, pick up in the afternoon with dyno sheets in hand. Stage 2 builds with supporting mods typically run two to three days depending on installation complexity. TCU tunes add a half-day. Flex-fuel and methanol-injection development is longer (three to five days) because we have to validate across multiple fuel blend ratios.

Is it safe? What about engine reliability?

A well-developed tune is safe. A bad tune destroys engines. The difference is methodology: we leave meaningful knock margin on the table, we verify air-fuel ratios across the full load and RPM range, we set torque limiters conservatively, and we never chase peak numbers at the expense of part-throttle drivability or cold-start reliability. Every car that leaves our shop has documented knock counts and a lambda trace showing the calibration behaves predictably. Reliability is a calibration input, not an afterthought.
