FAQ

Tuning questions

Ordering, add-ons and what to send us.

Which tune do I need for my car?

Start with your vehicle: select your make, model and year above to see the Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunes and add-ons available for it, with factory and tuned figures where we have them. As a rule, Stage 1 suits a car that is stock or close to it and runs on pump-grade fuel, while Stage 2 is for cars with supporting bolt-on modifications such as downpipes and high-octane fuel.

Can I order a TCU tune or map switching on its own?

No. Add-ons such as the TCU tune, CPC tune and map switching are ordered together with a Stage 1 or Stage 2 ECU tune.

Do I need to ship anything besides my ECU?

Only if your order includes a TCU or CPC tune: then you ship that module too, in the same box as your ECU and your printed order confirmation email. Map switching needs nothing extra.

How long does a mail-in tune take?

Calibration turnaround is two business days, beginning when your ECU is received. Inbound and return shipping transit time is not included, and Plus Plus Calibration pays for return shipping.

What if my car isn't listed?

Contact us with your year, make and model. Where a vehicle isn't in our online catalog, or needs custom Stage 2 development, we quote it directly.
