About the Lamborghini Huracán Performante / Spyder

Before the Huracán had a track-focused STO, it had the Performante, the model that introduced Lamborghini’s ALA (Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva) active aerodynamics.

ALA works through the front and rear spoilers, both made of Forged Composites, Lamborghini’s patented forged carbon-fiber material, to add downforce in corners or cut drag for acceleration and top speed. The same material appears throughout the cabin, and the Performante’s dry weight comes to 1,382 kg, 40 kg less than the LP 610-4. The 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 was reworked with lessons from Lamborghini’s racing program and a lighter exhaust, and the seven-speed LDF dual-clutch was refined to cope.

Drive goes to all four wheels, and Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires were fitted. The Performante Spyder, also on this page, is 35 kg lighter than the all-wheel-drive Huracán Spyder.

Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and takes it from 631 hp and 417 lb-ft to 686 hp and 483 lb-ft on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 is calibrated for supporting bolt-on modifications and high-octane fuel, for 712 hp and 506 lb-ft.

FAQ

Huracán Performante / Spyder tuning questions

More answers in our FAQ

Which years of the Huracán Performante / Spyder does this tune fit?

Our online catalog lists Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunes for 2017–2019 Lamborghini Huracán Performante / Spyder models. Choose your year at the top of the page; the figures and prices are the same for every year.

How does the Performante differ from the Huracán EVO that followed?

The later EVO did not carry over ALA. Instead it added rear-wheel steering, torque vectoring and the LDVI system, which manages the chassis controls together and anticipates the driver’s inputs. Both EVO body styles are covered on a separate page.

Is the Performante a version of the Huracán STO?

No. The Performante came first and drives all four wheels, using ALA to manage its aerodynamics. The STO is a later rear-wheel-drive car shaped after the Super Trofeo EVO race car, with a one-piece carbon hood and fenders and an adjustable wing. It has its own page.

What is the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2 on the Huracán Performante / Spyder?

Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and runs on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 pairs the calibration with supporting bolt-on modifications such as downpipes and runs on high-octane fuel. On a 2019 car, Stage 1 takes it from 631 hp to 686 hp. Stage 2 takes it to 712 hp.
