The car

About the Lamborghini Huracán STO

Lamborghini’s one-make racing series shaped the Huracán STO, a rear-wheel-drive road car whose lines recall the Huracán Super Trofeo EVO but were reworked throughout for aerodynamics.

Carbon fiber makes up more than 75% of the body panels. The cofango, a single piece combining the hood and front fenders, has louvers that release air from the wheel arches to reduce pressure there. At the back sit a shark fin for stability in corners, an air scoop that keeps the engine bay cool and a rear wing with three manually adjustable positions. Dry weight is 1,339 kg, and Brembo CCM-R carbon-ceramic discs derived from Formula 1 handle braking.

The 5.2-liter V10 drives the rear wheels through the seven-speed LDF gearbox. Instead of variable-ratio steering, the STO has a fixed, more direct ratio and three drive modes: STO for the road, Trofeo for dry tracks and Pioggia for rain.

Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and takes it from 631 hp and 417 lb-ft to 686 hp and 483 lb-ft on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 is calibrated for supporting bolt-on modifications and high-octane fuel, for 712 hp and 506 lb-ft.

FAQ

Huracán STO tuning questions

More answers in our FAQ

Which years of the Huracán STO does this tune fit?

Our online catalog lists Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunes for 2021–2024 Lamborghini Huracán STO models. Choose your year at the top of the page; the figures and prices are the same for every year.

How does the STO differ from the Huracán Tecnica?

They share the V10’s rating and rear-wheel drive, but the STO is the track-focused car: 40 kg lighter dry, with the carbon cofango, a large adjustable wing and CCM-R brakes, and a 310 km/h top speed against 325 km/h. The Tecnica is meant for road use and has its own page.

Which drive modes does the STO use?

The STO replaces the usual Huracán modes with three of its own. STO is for the road in any weather, Trofeo is calibrated for maximum performance on a dry track, and Pioggia is set up for wet conditions, with the LDVI subsystems adjusted for grip.

What is the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2 on the Huracán STO?

Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and runs on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 pairs the calibration with supporting bolt-on modifications such as downpipes and runs on high-octane fuel. On a 2024 car, Stage 1 takes it from 631 hp to 686 hp. Stage 2 takes it to 712 hp.
