The car
Land Rover’s mid-life update of the L405 Range Rover, announced in October 2017, brought a new grille with a gloss-black surround, slimmer LED headlights and the Touch Pro Duo infotainment system with two 10-inch touchscreens. The supercharged 5.0-liter V8 gained output in the same update, and P525 is the designation Land Rover uses for this version of it.
The driveline was updated as well. Terrain Response 2 was retuned for more precise low-speed control off-road, an Active Rear Locking Differential helps traction and stability in corners, and the air suspension lowers the body at sustained highway speeds to cut drag. Power still reaches all four wheels through a ZF eight-speed automatic.
In the US the engine was offered in Supercharged and Autobiography models on both wheelbases, and on the HSE Westminster for 2021. The optional front seats offer 24-way adjustment, and the long-wheelbase body adds 7.3 inches of rear legroom.

Our online catalog lists Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunes for 2017–2023 Range Rover P525 Supercharged V8 (L405) models. Choose your year at the top of the page; the figures and prices are the same for every year.
The facelift added more output from the same supercharged V8, a new grille and headlights, the twin-screen Touch Pro Duo system, Terrain Response 2 and the Active Rear Locking Differential. The earlier car has its own page, Supercharged V8 (L405).
No. The L460 Range Rover that arrived in spring 2022 has no supercharged engine: its V8 is a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged unit. This page is for the L405, the aluminum-bodied generation built before it.
Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and runs on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 pairs the calibration with supporting bolt-on modifications such as downpipes and runs on high-octane fuel.
