The car
Revealed at the 2015 New York auto show, the SVAutobiography replaced the Autobiography Black as the most luxurious Range Rover and was crafted at the Special Vehicle Operations Technical Center in the UK. It went on sale in the US for the 2016 model year.
The cabin is built around the rear passengers. Executive Class seating, powered deployable tables and a rear beverage chiller are part of the package, and the exterior is finished in dual-tone paint with a Santorini Black upper body over a choice of lower-body colors. Under the hood is a higher-output version of the 5.0-liter supercharged V8, again with a ZF eight-speed automatic and four-wheel drive.
Land Rover offered it on both wheelbases at first. From the 2018 model year the SVAutobiography came only with the long wheelbase and gained more output, while the shorter SVAutobiography Dynamic, lowered and fitted with Brembo brakes, served owners who prefer to drive themselves.
On a 2022 car, Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and takes it from 557 hp and 516 lb-ft to 610 hp and 580 lb-ft on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 is calibrated for supporting bolt-on modifications and high-octane fuel, for 630 hp and 600 lb-ft.

Our online catalog lists Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunes for 2015–2022 Range Rover SVAutobiography (L405) models. Choose your year at the top of the page; figures and prices for each year are shown in the table above.
It is finished by Special Vehicle Operations rather than on the main line, with more output from the supercharged V8, Executive Class rear seats, deployable tables, a rear chiller and two-tone paint. The regular V8 model has its own page, P525 Supercharged V8 (L405).
A short-wheelbase version revealed in January 2017 for buyers who want to sit in front. It rides 8 mm lower and has red Brembo calipers and diamond-quilted leather, while the regular SVAutobiography concentrates on the rear cabin and, from 2018, came only with the long wheelbase.
Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and runs on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 pairs the calibration with supporting bolt-on modifications such as downpipes and runs on high-octane fuel. On a 2022 car, Stage 1 takes it from 557 hp to 610 hp. Stage 2 takes it to 630 hp.
