The car
Lamborghini’s V12 flagship of the 2010s began with the Aventador LP 700-4, shown at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show as the replacement for the Murciélago, and built around a passenger cell made of carbon fiber.
Mounted lengthwise behind the cabin is a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12, hand-built in Sant’Agata Bolognese. Rather than a dual-clutch gearbox, Lamborghini chose a seven-speed ISR (Independent Shifting Rods) automated manual with a single clutch, smaller than a conventional manual and lighter than a dual-clutch unit. A Haldex-based all-wheel-drive system, pushrod suspension inspired by racing cars and carbon-ceramic brakes complete the hardware.
This page covers the original coupe and the Aventador Roadster. The Roadster’s two-part hardtop is made entirely of carbon fiber, and its windshield frame and the area around the rear window up to the fins are finished in gloss black, so the car looks open even with the roof in place.
Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and takes it from 691 hp and 509 lb-ft to 790 hp and 555 lb-ft on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 is calibrated for supporting bolt-on modifications and high-octane fuel, for 790 hp and 580 lb-ft.

Our online catalog lists Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunes for 2012–2016 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 / Roadster models. Choose your year at the top of the page; the figures and prices are the same for every year.
The Roadster has a removable two-part carbon-fiber hardtop where the coupe has a fixed roof, and its two-tone finish puts gloss black on the windshield frame and around the rear window. Both carry the same V12, ISR gearbox and all-wheel drive.
The SV and SVJ are later, lighter special versions with magnetorheological pushrod suspension and variable-ratio steering as standard, and the SVJ adds ALA 2.0 active aerodynamics and rear-wheel steering. Each has its own page; this one is for the original LP 700-4 coupe and Roadster.
Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and runs on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 pairs the calibration with supporting bolt-on modifications such as downpipes and runs on high-octane fuel. On a 2016 car, Stage 1 takes it from 691 hp to 790 hp. Stage 2 takes it to 790 hp.
