The car
A 2018 facelift gave the four-cylinder Macan the rear styling of the newer Cayenne and Panamera, with a three-dimensional LED light strip across the tailgate, along with standard LED headlights and a 10.9-inch touchscreen.
Underneath it keeps a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, paired as before with the seven-speed PDK and all-wheel drive. Porsche’s published times are unchanged from the earlier four-cylinder: 6.3 seconds to 60 mph, 6.1 using launch control with the Sport Chrono Package, and 142 mph.
The update also added Traffic Jam Assist to the adaptive cruise control, Porsche Connect Plus with an LTE module and a Wi-Fi hotspot, and new colors including Miami Blue and Mamba Green Metallic. This version was sold until the 95B.3 update raised the four-cylinder’s output.
Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and takes it from 250 hp and 273 lb-ft to 310 hp and 335 lb-ft on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 is calibrated for supporting bolt-on modifications and high-octane fuel, for 325 hp and 350 lb-ft. The gearbox has its own controller and torque limits, so the optional TCU tune raises them to match, with sharper shifts and stronger clutch clamping.

The 2022 update raised the four-cylinder’s output and cut 0–60 mph to 5.8 seconds with Sport Chrono. It also brought body-color front air intakes, a touch-panel center console with a shorter gear lever, and a new Macan T. Those cars have their own page.
No. The 95B.2 Macan S has a 3.0-liter V6 with a single turbocharger and its own page, Macan S (95B.2). This page is for the four-cylinder model, badged simply Macan.
Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and runs on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 pairs the calibration with supporting bolt-on modifications such as downpipes and runs on high-octane fuel. On a 2021 car, Stage 1 takes it from 250 hp to 310 hp. Stage 2 takes it to 325 hp.
A TCU tune is available as an add-on ($1,999). It raises the transmission’s torque limits and sharpens the shifts so the gearbox can handle the extra power. Ship your TCU in the same box as your ECU.
