The car
The 992 made its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November 2018 as the Carrera S and Carrera 4S, and those cars, the Targa 4S and the GTS models that followed about two and a half years later make up this page.
All share a 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six with a symmetrical turbocharger layout and an eight-speed PDK as standard. From spring 2020 a seven-speed manual with Sport Chrono became a no-cost option on the S and 4S coupes and cabriolets, and the Targa 4S and every GTS offer it too. Even the rear-wheel-drive S has the 1,852 mm rear body once reserved for all-wheel-drive and GTS cars, on 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels.
The GTS has a higher output rating, PASM Sport suspension derived from the 911 Turbo with a 10 mm drop and rear helper springs, Turbo brakes, black center-lock wheels and less sound deadening. The Targa 4 GTS keeps the Targa 4S chassis.
Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and takes it from 444 hp and 391 lb-ft to 580 hp and 506 lb-ft on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 is calibrated for supporting bolt-on modifications and high-octane fuel, for 615 hp and 514 lb-ft.

Our online catalog lists Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunes for 2020–2024 Porsche 911 Carrera S / 4S / Targa 4S / GTS (992.1) models. Choose your year at the top of the page; the figures and prices are the same for every year.
The GTS engine is rated higher, and the car adds Turbo-derived suspension and brakes, black center-lock wheels, darkened lights and trim and a GTS-specific sport exhaust. Porsche quotes 0–60 mph in 3.1 seconds for the Carrera 4 GTS coupe with PDK, against 3.2 seconds for a 4S with Sport Chrono.
Look at the tailpipes: S and 4S models have two round outlets on each side, base Carrera models a single rectangular one, unless either has the optional sport exhaust with oval pipes. The S also rides on 20- and 21-inch wheels where the Carrera has 19s and 20s.
Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and runs on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 pairs the calibration with supporting bolt-on modifications such as downpipes and runs on high-octane fuel. On a 2024 car, Stage 1 takes it from 444 hp to 580 hp. Stage 2 takes it to 615 hp.
