The car
Shown at the Geneva motor show in March 2016, the DB11 was the first car of Aston Martin’s second-century plan and the debut of the company’s own 5.2-liter twin-turbocharged V12, which took over from the naturally aspirated V12 of the DB9. It is a long-distance grand tourer first and a sports car second.
An eight-speed ZF automatic sits at the rear of the car, linked to the engine by an alloy torque tube and a carbon-fiber propeller shaft, and the rear wheels are driven alone. The body is built on a new bonded aluminum structure. Rather than a large wing, the AeroBlade system takes air in at the base of the rear pillars and releases it through a slot in the trunk lid to press the tail down.
Adaptive dampers offer GT, Sport and Sport Plus modes. In 2018 the DB11 AMR arrived as the sharper, more powerful twelve-cylinder version.
Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and takes it from 600 hp and 516 lb-ft to 720 hp and 670 lb-ft on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 is calibrated for supporting bolt-on modifications and high-octane fuel, for 740 hp and 700 lb-ft.

Our online catalog lists Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunes for 2017–2023 Aston Martin DB11 V12 models. Choose your year at the top of the page; the figures and prices are the same for every year.
No. Aston Martin built the convertible DB11 Volante only with the 4.0-liter V8, so every twelve-cylinder DB11 is a coupe. If your car is a Volante, choose the DB11 V8 page instead.
The AMR, introduced in May 2018, keeps the same 5.2-liter V12 but with more power, a new gearbox shift calibration, a louder exhaust in Sport mode and revised chassis tuning. It is easy to spot by its exposed carbon hood blades, dark exterior trim, smoked taillights and forged wheels. It has its own page, DB11 AMR.
Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and runs on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 pairs the calibration with supporting bolt-on modifications such as downpipes and runs on high-octane fuel. On a 2023 car, Stage 1 takes it from 600 hp to 720 hp. Stage 2 takes it to 740 hp.
