About the Aston Martin DBX707

Unveiled in February 2022, the DBX707 was Aston Martin’s answer to the most powerful luxury SUVs on sale. Its 4.0-liter Mercedes-AMG V8 gains ball-bearing turbochargers and its own engine calibration, and Aston Martin quotes 0–60 mph in 3.1 seconds and 193 mph flat out.

The bigger change for the driver is the gearbox. In place of the DBX’s torque converter, a nine-speed wet-clutch automatic handles the extra torque and shifts faster, and a strengthened electronic rear differential with a shorter final drive puts the power down. The all-wheel-drive system can send all of its torque to the rear axle.

Carbon-ceramic brakes are standard, the air springs and dampers are retuned, and 22-inch wheels are fitted as standard. A larger grille, new splitter, bigger rear diffuser and roof spoiler lip identify it. In 2024 it gained a new interior and became the only DBX on sale.

Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and takes it from 697 hp and 664 lb-ft to 820 hp and 790 lb-ft on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 is calibrated for supporting bolt-on modifications and high-octane fuel, for 840 hp and 820 lb-ft.

FAQ

DBX707 tuning questions

More answers in our FAQ

Which years of the DBX707 does this tune fit?

Our online catalog lists Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunes for 2022–2024 Aston Martin DBX707 models. Choose your year at the top of the page; the figures and prices are the same for every year.

How can I tell a DBX707 from a regular DBX?

From the front, the DBX707 has a larger grille, a new splitter and different daytime running lights. At the rear it has a bigger diffuser, quad tailpipes and a lip on the roof spoiler, and behind its standard 22-inch wheels sit carbon-ceramic brake discs. The original model has its own page, DBX.

Does the DBX707 use the same transmission as the DBX?

No. The DBX uses a nine-speed torque-converter automatic, while the DBX707 has a nine-speed wet-clutch transmission that Aston Martin chose because it copes with more torque and changes gear faster. It also has a shorter final-drive ratio and a strengthened rear differential.

What is the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2 on the DBX707?

Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and runs on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 pairs the calibration with supporting bolt-on modifications such as downpipes and runs on high-octane fuel. On a 2024 car, Stage 1 takes it from 697 hp to 820 hp. Stage 2 takes it to 840 hp.
