The car
The Bentayga was Bentley’s first SUV, revealed at the 2015 Frankfurt show and named after a peak in Gran Canaria. At launch the W12 was its only engine, and Bentley billed it as the fastest and most powerful production SUV in the world; the entire 2016 production volume sold out in advance.
Its 6.0-liter W12 was a thorough redesign of the engine that first appeared in the 2003 Continental GT, now with two twin-scroll turbochargers, combined port and direct fuel injection, and cylinder deactivation. An eight-speed automatic drives all four wheels, the driver can choose from eight drive modes including off-road settings, and the air suspension offers four ride heights. Electric active anti-roll bars running on a 48-volt system, a world first, were optional.
Most cars on this page have the original body, with four separate LED headlamps flanking the matrix grille and a side panel made as a single aluminum pressing, which Bentley says was the largest of its kind in the world at the time.
Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and takes it from 600 hp and 664 lb-ft to 740 hp and 710 lb-ft on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 is calibrated for supporting bolt-on modifications and high-octane fuel, for 760 hp and 790 lb-ft.

Our online catalog lists Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunes for 2016–2021 Bentley Bentayga W12 models. Choose your year at the top of the page; the figures and prices are the same for every year.
The W12 came first and is the faster of the two, with a top speed Bentley quotes at 187 mph against 180 mph for the V8. The V8 arrived in early 2018 as the more sporting alternative, with a characteristic eight-cylinder burble, and it carried the range after the 2020 facelift. The two engines are listed on separate pages with their own factory figures.
The Speed is a higher-output version of the same W12 SUV, with a top speed of 190 mph against 187 mph for the standard car. When Bentley facelifted the Bentayga in 2020, the twelve-cylinder engine continued only in the Speed. The factory figures shown here are those of the standard W12, so compare them with your car’s documents before ordering.
Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and runs on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 pairs the calibration with supporting bolt-on modifications such as downpipes and runs on high-octane fuel. On a 2021 car, Stage 1 takes it from 600 hp to 740 hp. Stage 2 takes it to 760 hp.
