The car
These are the twelve-cylinder Flying Spurs from the last years of the W12. The Mulliner, revealed at Monterey Car Week in August 2021, is the most luxurious version of the sedan, and the Speed, launched in September 2022, is the most driving-focused. Once the standard Flying Spur W12 left production in May 2022, these two were the only W12 sedans Bentley offered, until the final W12 engine was built in Crewe in 2024.
Both use the 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 with an eight-speed ZF dual-clutch gearbox and a clutched all-wheel-drive system that drives the rear wheels and adds the front axle as needed. On the Speed, electronic all-wheel steering, Bentley Dynamic Ride and torque vectoring by brake are standard. This generation’s wheelbase is 130 mm longer than the previous Flying Spur’s, and its Flying B hood mascot deploys electrically and is illuminated.
Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and takes it from 626 hp and 664 lb-ft to 740 hp and 710 lb-ft on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 is calibrated for supporting bolt-on modifications and high-octane fuel, for 760 hp and 790 lb-ft.
