The car

About the McLaren 750S

McLaren developed the 750S from the 720S and says about 30 percent of its components are new or changed. The M840T 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 gains more boost, an extra fuel pump and pistons from the 765LT, and the seven-speed SSG uses a shorter final-drive ratio. At DIN weight the coupe is 66 pounds lighter than the 720S.

Chassis changes include the third generation of Proactive Chassis Control, a front track 6 mm wider and quicker steering. Outside there is a center-exit exhaust and, according to McLaren, the lightest standard wheels it had fitted to a series-production car; inside, a new driver display mounted on the steering column.

Coupe and Spider are built on the Monocage II and Monocage II-S tubs. McLaren quotes 0–60 mph in 2.7 seconds and 206 mph for both.

Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and takes it from 740 hp and 590 lb-ft to 870 hp and 720 lb-ft on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 is calibrated for supporting bolt-on modifications and high-octane fuel, for 955 hp and 750 lb-ft.

FAQ

750S tuning questions

More answers in our FAQ

Which years of the 750S does this tune fit?

Our online catalog lists Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunes for 2024 McLaren 750S models. Choose your year at the top of the page; the figures and prices are the same for every year.

How do I tell a 750S from a 720S?

From behind, the 750S has a single center-exit exhaust, and its wheels are a new, lighter design. Inside, the instrument display is mounted on the steering column. The 720S, sold from 2018, has its own page with its own factory figures, so choose the page that matches your car.

Does this page cover 750S model years after 2024?

Our catalog currently lists the 750S for the 2024 model year. McLaren went on building the car for later model years, so if yours is a 2025 or newer 750S, contact us before ordering and we will confirm what is available for it.

What is the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2 on the 750S?

Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and runs on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 pairs the calibration with supporting bolt-on modifications such as downpipes and runs on high-octane fuel. On a 2024 car, Stage 1 takes it from 740 hp to 870 hp. Stage 2 takes it to 955 hp.
