The car
The Senna is a road-legal McLaren built with the track as its priority, and production was limited to 500 cars, built from the third quarter of 2018. Its carbon-fiber Monocage III tub was developed from the 720S’s Monocage II, the body panels are carbon fiber as well, and lightest dry weight is 1,198 kg (2,641 pounds).
The engine is the M840TR, a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with a flat-plane crankshaft and dry sump, driving the rear wheels through a seven-speed SSG. Active aerodynamics front and rear produce up to 800 kg (1,764 pounds) of downforce, and the suspension is McLaren’s RaceActive Chassis Control II.
McLaren quotes 0–60 mph in 2.7 seconds, 0–124 mph in 6.8 seconds and a top speed of 208 mph.
Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and takes it from 789 hp and 590 lb-ft to 870 hp and 720 lb-ft on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 is calibrated for supporting bolt-on modifications and high-octane fuel, for 955 hp and 750 lb-ft.

They come from the same family. The Senna’s Monocage III was developed from the 720S tub, and its M840TR engine is a version of the 720S’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. The rest is aimed at the track: RaceActive Chassis Control II, active aerodynamics and carbon body panels. The 720S has its own page.
No. The Senna GTR is a separate, track-only car built in a run of 75, with more power than the road car, and it is not in our catalog. This page covers the road-legal Senna.
Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and runs on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 pairs the calibration with supporting bolt-on modifications such as downpipes and runs on high-octane fuel. On a 2020 car, Stage 1 takes it from 789 hp to 870 hp. Stage 2 takes it to 955 hp.
