The car
At its 2014 launch the Macan Turbo topped the range, and it is the only first-generation Macan with a 3.6-liter engine. Its twin-turbo V6 reaches that displacement with an 83 mm stroke, against 69 mm in the 3.0-liter of the Macan S, and runs a higher compression ratio.
Porsche gave the Turbo bigger brakes than the S, with 360 mm front and 356 mm rear rotors behind red calipers, and 19-inch Macan Turbo wheels. The seven-speed PDK and all-wheel drive are shared with the rest of the range. Acceleration to 60 mph takes 4.6 seconds, or 4.4 with Sport Chrono, and the top speed is 164 mph (Porsche figures).
Two related cars are listed separately: Turbos ordered with the Performance Package, and the facelifted Macan Turbo (95B.2), which returned in 2019 with a 2.9-liter engine.
Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and takes it from 395 hp and 406 lb-ft to 460 hp and 495 lb-ft on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 is calibrated for supporting bolt-on modifications and high-octane fuel, for 475 hp and 505 lb-ft. The gearbox has its own controller and torque limits, so the optional TCU tune raises them to match, with sharper shifts and stronger clutch clamping.

Our online catalog lists Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunes for 2015–2018 Porsche Macan Turbo (95B.1) models. Choose your year at the top of the page; the figures and prices are the same for every year.
The window sticker or build sheet lists it. The package brought a sport chassis lowered by 15 millimeters, 390 mm front brake rotors, Sport Chrono and a sport exhaust as standard. Cars with it belong on Macan Turbo with Performance Package (95B.1); standard Turbos belong here.
Not under the hood. The facelifted Turbo replaced this 3.6-liter V6 with a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 and made surface-coated brakes standard. Because the engines differ, the two generations are separate catalog entries.
Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and runs on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 pairs the calibration with supporting bolt-on modifications such as downpipes and runs on high-octane fuel. On a 2018 car, Stage 1 takes it from 395 hp to 460 hp. Stage 2 takes it to 475 hp.
A TCU tune is available as an add-on ($1,999). It raises the transmission’s torque limits and sharpens the shifts so the gearbox can handle the extra power. Ship your TCU in the same box as your ECU.
