The car
Ordering the Performance Package made the Macan Turbo the most powerful first-generation Macan. Porsche raised the output of the 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6 and fitted matching hardware as standard: a sport chassis lowered by 15 millimeters, or by 10 millimeters on cars with air suspension, the Sport Chrono Package and a sport exhaust.
The brakes changed most visibly, with grooved 390 mm front rotors and six-piston calipers against 360 mm discs on the standard Turbo. Gearbox and drive are unchanged: a seven-speed PDK and Porsche Traction Management all-wheel drive.
With Sport Chrono included, Porsche quotes 4.2 seconds to 60 mph and a 169 mph top speed, five mph more than a Turbo without the package.
Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and takes it from 434 hp and 443 lb-ft to 460 hp and 495 lb-ft on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 is calibrated for supporting bolt-on modifications and high-octane fuel, for 475 hp and 505 lb-ft. The gearbox has its own controller and torque limits, so the optional TCU tune raises them to match, with sharper shifts and stronger clutch clamping.

Our online catalog lists Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunes for 2015–2018 Porsche Macan Turbo with Performance Package (95B.1) models. Choose your year at the top of the page; the figures and prices are the same for every year.
Both have the 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6, but the Performance Package car leaves the factory with more power and torque, a lowered sport chassis, larger front brakes, Sport Chrono and a sport exhaust. Because the factory output differs, it is a separate catalog entry from the Macan Turbo (95B.1).
No. It keeps the seven-speed PDK and the all-wheel drive with an electronically controlled multi-plate clutch used across the first-generation Macan. The changes are to engine output, ride height, brakes and exhaust.
Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and runs on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 pairs the calibration with supporting bolt-on modifications such as downpipes and runs on high-octane fuel. On a 2018 car, Stage 1 takes it from 434 hp to 460 hp. Stage 2 takes it to 475 hp.
A TCU tune is available as an add-on ($1,999). It raises the transmission’s torque limits and sharpens the shifts so the gearbox can handle the extra power. Ship your TCU in the same box as your ECU.
