The car
When the Panamera Turbo was retired after the 2020 model year, the Turbo S took its place as the most powerful gasoline-only Panamera. In July 2020 a lightly camouflaged car driven by Lars Kern lapped the 20.832 km Nürburgring Nordschleife in 7:29.81, an official record in the executive-car class.
The engine is an uprated version of the Turbo’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, with changes to the crankshaft, connecting rods, timing chain drive and torsional vibration dampers, new fuel injectors and a lower compression ratio. Power goes through the eight-speed PDK to all four wheels; Launch Control gets the car to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds, and Porsche gives every body style a 196 mph top speed.
Carbon-ceramic brakes, PDCC Sport roll stabilization, Torque Vectoring Plus and rear-axle steering are standard, and the front end is its own, with larger air intakes. It came as a sedan, Sport Turismo and Executive.
Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and takes it from 620 hp and 604 lb-ft to 675 hp and 690 lb-ft on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 is calibrated for supporting bolt-on modifications and high-octane fuel, for 720 hp and 738 lb-ft.

Our online catalog lists Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunes for 2021–2023 Porsche Panamera Turbo S (971.2) models. Choose your year at the top of the page; the figures and prices are the same for every year.
No. The earlier Turbo has a less powerful version of the V8 without the Turbo S’s internal changes, and Porsche quotes it half a second slower to 60 mph. It has its own page, Panamera Turbo (971.1). The gasoline Turbo S badge belongs to the 2021–2023 car on this page.
The E-Hybrid adds an electric motor in the PDK and a 17.9 kWh battery to a V8 in a milder state of tune, for more combined output. It needs 3.0 seconds to 60 mph to this car’s 2.9, and both reach 196 mph. Both have pages of their own.
Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and runs on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 pairs the calibration with supporting bolt-on modifications such as downpipes and runs on high-octane fuel. On a 2023 car, Stage 1 takes it from 620 hp to 675 hp. Stage 2 takes it to 720 hp.
