The car
Still the flagship after the 2021 update, the Turbo S E-Hybrid was, in Porsche’s words at launch, the second most powerful car the company then sold. It pairs a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, now with more output than in the 2017–2020 car, with an electric motor integrated into the eight-speed PDK.
The battery grew from 14.1 to 17.9 kWh. With the standard Sport Chrono Package the sedan and Sport Turismo reach 60 mph in 3.0 seconds (3.1 for the Executive) and 124 mph in 10.9 seconds, the quickest of any 2021 Panamera, while its top speed went up from 192 to 196 mph.
Every chassis system Porsche then offered comes as standard: PDCC Sport with Torque Vectoring Plus, rear-axle steering and carbon-ceramic brakes. The front end is the Turbo design, with larger side intakes and dual C-shaped light modules.
Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and takes it from 690 hp and 641 lb-ft to 805 hp and 786 lb-ft on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 is calibrated for supporting bolt-on modifications and high-octane fuel, for 830 hp and 800 lb-ft. The gearbox has its own controller and torque limits, so the optional TCU tune raises them to match, with sharper shifts and stronger clutch clamping.

Our online catalog lists Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunes for 2021–2023 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid (971.2) models. Choose your year at the top of the page; the figures and prices are the same for every year.
The 971.1 car has the smaller 14.1 kWh battery, a less powerful V8, the pre-update front end and a 192 mph top speed. It is listed separately, as Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid (971.1), with its own figures. This page covers the 2021–2023 car in sedan, Sport Turismo and Executive form.
Both combine a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with an electric motor ahead of the gearbox, but the Cayenne uses an eight-speed Tiptronic S torque-converter automatic instead of the PDK, and the two carry different system ratings. Each has its own page in our catalog.
Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and runs on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 pairs the calibration with supporting bolt-on modifications such as downpipes and runs on high-octane fuel. On a 2023 car, Stage 1 takes it from 690 hp to 805 hp. Stage 2 takes it to 830 hp.
A TCU tune is available as an add-on ($1,999). It raises the transmission’s torque limits and sharpens the shifts so the gearbox can handle the extra power. Ship your TCU in the same box as your ECU.
