The car
Launched in 2020, the second-generation Ghost was shaped by what Rolls-Royce called post-opulence, a quieter and less ornate idea of luxury. It is a new car rather than an update: it moved onto the aluminum spaceframe architecture already used by the Phantom and Cullinan, and that made room for all-wheel drive and all-wheel steering, both new to the Ghost.
Ride comfort was the engineering priority. The Planar suspension system, the result of ten years of testing and development, works with the Flagbearer cameras, which read the road ahead and adjust the suspension in advance at speeds up to 100 km/h, and with a gearbox that pre-selects gears for upcoming corners from satellite data.
The 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 reaches peak torque from 1,600 rpm and drives through an eight-speed automatic. At night the grille is lit from above, and the dashboard carries an illuminated Ghost nameplate surrounded by more than 850 stars.
Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and takes it from 563 hp and 627 lb-ft to 715 hp and 715 lb-ft on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 is calibrated for supporting bolt-on modifications and high-octane fuel, for 745 hp and 760 lb-ft.

They share a name but little hardware. The Ghost Series II of 2014–2020 has a 6.6-liter V12 and rear-wheel drive on the older platform; this Ghost, sold from the 2021 model year, has a 6.75-liter V12, all-wheel drive, all-wheel steering and an aluminum spaceframe. Each has its own page.
No. Rolls-Royce revised this Ghost in late 2024 with slimmer headlamps, a reshaped grille, new bumpers and new tail lamps, and named it Ghost Series II, reusing the name of the 2014 update to the first Ghost. Our catalog lists this generation from 2021 to 2024.
Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and runs on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 pairs the calibration with supporting bolt-on modifications such as downpipes and runs on high-octane fuel. On a 2024 car, Stage 1 takes it from 563 hp to 715 hp. Stage 2 takes it to 745 hp.
