The car
Rolls-Royce introduced the Ghost at the 2009 Frankfurt show as a smaller sedan below the Phantom, added a longer Extended version in 2011, and showed this Series II update at Geneva in 2014. It remained the brand’s core four-door until the all-new Ghost arrived in 2020, and it was the starting point for the Wraith coupe and the Dawn convertible.
Its 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12 drives the rear wheels through a ZF eight-speed automatic. Series II cars gained the Satellite Aided Transmission first seen on the Wraith, which reads GPS data to pick a gear before a corner or junction, along with LED headlamps and revised suspension struts and steering.
Black Badge, the darker and more powerful version introduced in 2016, has its own page.
Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and takes it from 562 hp and 605 lb-ft to 700 hp and 700 lb-ft on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 is calibrated for supporting bolt-on modifications and high-octane fuel, for 730 hp and 750 lb-ft.

No. Rolls-Royce has used the Series II name twice. This page covers the 2014–2020 update of the first Ghost, with a 6.6-liter V12 and rear-wheel drive. The 2024 update of the second-generation Ghost, also called Series II, has a 6.75-liter V12 with all-wheel drive and is not listed on this page.
Series II cars, built from 2014, have LED headlamps and a gearbox that reads satellite navigation data to anticipate the road. Our catalog lists the Ghost from 2014 to 2020, the Series II years, so earlier cars are not covered here.
Stage 1 is calibrated for the car as it left the factory and runs on pump-grade fuel. Stage 2 pairs the calibration with supporting bolt-on modifications such as downpipes and runs on high-octane fuel. On a 2020 car, Stage 1 takes it from 562 hp to 700 hp. Stage 2 takes it to 730 hp.
